There you are on a Friday evening and you realize that you can't put it off any longer, there is a science project due on Monday. Of course nothing has been started, procrastination is great until the day of no return. You need to put your hands on some fast and easy science projects and they have to be good, and pass the teacher test.

These are not easy to find. You can't just Google it and magically find what you need. Science projects that can be done quickly and are easy to do often do not meet the teacher's basic requirements. The fast ones also run the risk of not really teaching the child anything. It would just be doing it for the sake of handing it in. • Go to the library or do a Google Search with "science projects on..." Make a list of possible projects, you might find just the project you need. Make sure you weed out the ones that are too advanced, like chemistry ones.
• Make sure the material needed can easily be found around your home or be bought cheaply at one of the local stores. If there are odd ball and expensive ingredients that you never heard of before, that is a clue to move to a different project.
• Double check the time factor you really only have two days in order to have it ready for Monday morning. Actually the ideal fast and easy science project will not take more than a few hours, in case something goes wrong and you have to do it again. And trust me, this often happens It also leaves you plenty of time for to get your write up, charts and posters made.
